A Shipping Container That Has Been Converted Into A Cozy Guest House

Located on top of Stacey Hill in San Antonio, Texas, this old shipping container has been converted into a cozy guest house.

This project was led by architect Jim Poteet, who retained the color of the container and removed one wall to insert sliding stained glass doors. This structure is meant to be sustainable—the foundation was made using old telephone poles, and the deck was made using recycled soda caps.

The color-scheme also makes use of two contrasting colors, blue and orange, to make the guest house look inviting and cheerful.
