Renown actors and best friends Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart recently wrapped up their respective plays on Broadway, and decided to bid farewell to New York City with a series of endearing photographs charting their adventures around the Big Apple.
They had just ended their critically acclaimed runs in No Man’s Land and Waiting For Godot this past weekend, and Stewart took the opportunity to tweet some thoroughly delightful shots of the adorable pair hamming it up as wacky tourists.
From posing in front of iconic landmarks to gallivanting around, taking in the sights and sounds of the amazing metropolis, it’s clear the two men share a deep love and friendship with each other.
“We are the same actor, really. We’ve had the same career, really. So we’re peers. We’re equals. We’re not rivals,” said McKellen.
