TOCTOC x WILLIAM BLAKE - Nabuchodonosor (1795)
French illustrator TocToc has a fun on-going project called ‘Salut l’Artiste’ where he showcases his creativity and wacky sense of humor by doodling cartoons on classical paintings.
He cheekily inserts funny visual gags into his work, turning the lines and color blocks in a Mondrian painting into a call to “liberate your soul”, and adding a bruised boxer next to a girl with a black-eye in a Norman Rockwell painting.
Check out some of his illustrations below and follow his blog for more.
