Santa Fe-based Green Chair Press has come up with a line of quirky miniature matchbox books that fit in the palm of your hand.
Each book measures a mere 1 3/8 x 2-inches and comes in a special hand-made matchbox. Titles include an “illustrated and much abridged” Pride and Prejudice, a book about the history of the ampersand titled Ampersand, and a lovely pop-up book of an autumnal scene called Teapot.
Also available is the ‘Artist in a Box’ subset featuring miniature artworks of Rene Magritte, Claude Monet, Louise Nevelson and Joseph Beuys.
