The seventh and final season of hit AMC advertising drama Mad Men premiered yesterday, and New York based-agency Leroy & Clarkson decided to pay tribute with a hilarious parody titled ‘Don-O-Mite’ that imagines the series as a 1970s blaxploitation.

In the trailer, the title character of Don-O-Mite (“6-foot 2-inches of Black TNT exploding all over Madison Avenue”) is tasked with reviving the fortunes of a struggling ad agency in exchange for getting out of jail, while navigating the treacherous, cutthroat world of advertising. Crafty pitch saleswoman Black Peggy Olsen, a suitably bodacious Joan ‘Sugar Hills’ Holloway, a slimy Pete ‘Soup Man’ Campbell and a scheming Slim Sterling round off the charismatic black cast.

Afros, shoot-outs and lots of swagger abound as the characters face off, spouting irrepressibly witty quips and comebacks while strutting about to a funky soundtrack.
