Chicago-based freelance artist Ali Lander-Shindler has created a clever series of embroidered typefaces that is inspired by the various kinds of meat.
Matching each cut of meat—from Canadian bacon to prime rib—with a typeface that reflects its physical appearance and the innuendos of their names, the artist produces tactile typography that makes the viewer wants to reach out and touch them.
We think that these tongue-in-cheek typographic artworks will look great as décor pieces in the kitchen.
