Phone etiquette is different in various countries, and the team behind Repair Labs has come up with an infographic detailing the unique way in which different people from different countries answer the phone.



Technological factors also contribute to phone etiquette—in Russia, people are to the point due to poor reception, though culture does play a crucial role as the ever polite Japanese have signs telling people not to speak on the phone in public.



Some quirks, like answering the phone during a job interview may be deemed rude, but Thai people do it anyway.
