For her latest single ‘Roar’, singer Katy Perry has released a music video made almost entirely on mobile messaging platform WhatsApp.
The video features a WhatsApp group chat of Perry and her friends that carries on throughout the day, as they send song lyrics the song using a mix of text and emoji to each other.
A portion of the video also shows Perry using her phone while using the toilet, and taking a bath.
According to AllThingsD, this could just be a “lyrics” video, and “the precursor to a video that will likely show Perry’s face”.
