Notable industrial designer Yves Béhar has designed the XO Tablet, a new touchscreen device to enhance the previous offerings of ‘One Laptop Per Child’.

The XO Tablet is a seven-inch device powered by Android, with a rubber exterior and a hook for carrying on-hand. It also comes with pre-loaded apps, games and books, to help every child fully develop their interests and stimulate their learning.

This tablet is available on sale at Walmart stores across the USA and is selling for $150. This move marks a shift in the One Laptop Per Child program’s initial aim to bring technology and education to the developing world.
